Registration Details
2026 Parent & Family Weekend registration is closed.
Registration Tips
To help you have the best possible experience when registering, here are a few reminders and suggestions:
- Stick to One Tab: Please keep only one browser tab or window open during registration. Keeping multiple tabs open may slow things down or cause errors.
- Use a Supported Browser: For optimal results, we recommend using Google Chrome, Firefox, or Microsoft Edge to register.
- Expect Some Delays: Registration opens on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at noon ET, and many people will be logging in simultaneously. Things may run slowly or even freeze briefly — this is normal. Please refresh your browser or wait a few moments; we’ll be monitoring the system and working behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly.
- Talk with Your Student First: If you plan to attend events on Friday, October 23, we encourage you to discuss your student’s class schedule and which events interest them beforehand. Classes are still in session that day. However, you’re also welcome to attend events on your own.
- Plan Ahead:Take a look at the events schedule on the Parent & Family Weekend Events Page in advance and jot down the events you and your family are most interested in. Once you begin registration, you’ll have about 15 minutes to make your selections and check out. If the session times out, you’ll need to start over and re-add everything to your cart.
- Be Consistent with Your Info: The name and email you provide in the “Registrant Information” section will be used at check-in to pick up your tickets and souvenirs. Using the same information at check-in will help make the process quick and easy. Your confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provide in the “Registrant Information” section as well.
- Event Availability: If you see an event marked as “unavailable” (but not “sold out”), it means it’s temporarily in someone else’s cart. Please wait a few minutes— it might become available again once those carts expire.
- Double-check Your Order: before finalizing your checkout. Once checked out, you will be unable to add anything to your order or remove or refund individual items.
- Football Tickets Only: If you’re only interested in attending the football game and see that tickets are no longer available through PFW registration, we recommend not registering and instead purchasing tickets directly through Michigan Athletics or SeatGeek to avoid paying the $55 fee.
- Registration Timeline: Online registration is open from August 19 – September 2. Please note that capacity-limited and ticketed events sell out quickly.
- In-Person Registration Is an Option: Can’t register online? No problem. You’ll be able to register in person at check-in on October 23. You can check to see which events and items are still available at that time. Many of our events don’t have capacity limits, so if you aren’t able to register right away, those should still be available.
- Check the MFamily Portal Swap Board in October to sell/purchase tickets from other families.

Parents, guardians, or supporters of undergraduate students who receive financial aid (including the Go Blue Guarantee), may apply for a registration fee waiver. Please note:
