Blavin Scholars Program

The Blavin Scholars Program supports undergraduate students who have experienced foster care, kinship care, or are navigating their U-M journey without the help of parents or guardians. Through a welcoming office space to study, relax, and connect with staff, volunteers, and peers, Blavin Scholars provides a true community of support on campus.

A circle of support for students

Thriving at Michigan means having a community you can count on. We provide Blavin Scholars with a reliable foundation for success—including access to year-round housing and after-hours emergency support—alongside personalized resources for your journey.
