Off-Campus Student Assistance

Living off campus can be really exciting. It’s fun to have a place to call your own. But it can also come with additional responsibilities and expenses. If you find yourself experiencing challenges as an off-campus student, we are here to offer support.

Ways to contact us

Students can seek support from the Dean of Students Office for a variety of off-campus concerns, including navigating roommate and landlord conflicts, understanding city ordinances, being a responsible community member, addressing safety concerns, and other issues that affect off-campus living.

Find housing support

Signs of housing insecurity include difficulty finding affordable housing, feeling unsafe in your current living situation, navigating lease agreements, or experiencing conflicts with landlords or roommates.

Find food support

Signs of food insecurity include skipping meals or reducing portion sizes, relying on low-cost, low-nutrient foods, or worrying about food running out before you have money to buy more.
