Dean of Students Advisory Board

michigan central campus

About the Board

Are you a passionate Michigan Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Graduate student actively involved in school organizations and programs? Are you looking for an opportunity to inform student-centered change within the Michigan community?

If this is you, consider applying to join the Dean of Students Advisory Board!

The Board's primary goal is to provide feedback to the Dean of Students and share your experience with a range of student issues. Throughout the academic year, biweekly meetings encourage discussion on new initiatives and emergent issues. The Board's recommendations help to influence Dean of Student goals, services, and overall effectiveness.

The Advisory Board is comprised of undergraduate and graduate students, including students enrolled in Michigan's professional schools (i.e., Law, Social Work).

Each student brings a unique voice and perspective to the table. In addition, the Advisory Board often welcomes Student Life staff members, University officials, and community guests to speak at meetings.

If you are invested in the Michigan Experience and have a desire to raise awareness of student issues from a student perspective, please consider applying for this year's Advisory Board.
