Bio

Rachel serves as the Parent & Family Engagement Program Manager in the Dean of Students Office. Her work focuses on establishing and managing successful relationships that result in increased student success and parent/family connection to students' experiences at the University of Michigan. In addition, Rachel oversees Parents & Family Weekend, CampusESP, M Family Association, M Family Forum, and M Family Virtual Conversation Series.

Prior to coming to the Dean of Students office, Rachel worked as the Director of Volunteer Services in Quality & Compliance at Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County, Practice Manager at Skyward Financial Advisors, and as Program Leader at Michigan State University Extension in Family and Consumer Sciences. She joined the Dean of Students team at the University of Michigan in August 2023.  Rachel earned her bachelor’s degree in Social Relations from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in Public Health from Purdue University.
