Bio

Jessica serves as the Director of the Blavin Scholars program.  She oversees and manages the Blavin Scholarship and Program, which provides students who have experienced time in foster care with comprehensive support in navigating and maximizing their college experience as they pursue a bachelor’s degree at the University of Michigan.
Jessica began working in her position in August 2021.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2011 at Grand Valley State University and her Master in Social Work at Eastern Michigan University in 2014.
